Axial fan

The impeller of an axial flow fan is somewhat similar to a propeller, and when it works, most of the airflow is parallel to the axis, in other words, along the axial direction.

When the inlet airflow is zero and the free air is zero, the axial flow fan consumes the least amount of electricity.

At the same time, the power consumption also increases with the increase of airflow back pressure.

Axial flow fans are generally installed in electronic and electrical equipment, and can also be integrated with motors. Axial flow fans are compact in structure, can save a lot of space, and are easy to install, so they are widely used.

Our common square cooling fans on the market can basically be classified into this category.

Main features of axial flow fan: meet high flow rate, medium air pressure, and general environment heat dissipation.

Mixed flow fan

The mixed fan of the mixed flow fan is also called the diagonal flow fan.

This mixed airflow fan has the same shape as an axial fan.

In fact, the inlet of the mixed flow fan is along the axis, and the outlet is along the diagonal direction of the axis and the vertical axis.

Due to the higher wind pressure of the fan, in the same size and other relative performance, the air volume of the centrifugal fan is smaller than that of the axial fan.

The main feature of the mixed flow fan is to obtain better heat dissipation under high flow rate and high wind pressure.

Centrifugal fan

When the centrifugal fan is running, the impeller drives the air to move along the axial direction, the suction moves along the axial direction, and the exhaust pipe is perpendicular to the shaft.

In many cases, the cooling effect can be obtained by using an axial flow fan, but if you need to discharge the airflow at a tricky angle, or if you need strong wind pressure, you may need to choose a centrifugal fan.

This centrifugal fan is vividly described as a small centrifugal fan. We generally use a multi-blade centrifugal fan, which is also mostly used in machinery. The appearance is different, but the principle is the same.

The main features of centrifugal fans: changing air volume, comparing flow rate, atmospheric pressure.

Cross flow fan

Cross-flow fans Cross-flow fans, also known as cross-flow fans, can generate a large amount of airflow and are generally used to cool wide surfaces.

The cross-flow fan uses a long cylindrical fan impeller to work, which can reduce the noise generated during high-speed operation. The impeller has a large diameter and a large diameter, so on the basis of ensuring the entire air circulation, a lower The speed can reduce the noise caused by high-speed operation. Mostly suitable for elevators, air conditioners, cars, etc.

The main features of the penetrating wind are: low flow velocity, small wind pressure, and large heat dissipation area.
